Re: Vikings How Assembled Chart
Thats awesome.
Kinda sad we have no one left from the 2004 and 2005 drafts
In 2004 we could of had SS Bob Sanders (he had a couple good years before injuries killed him) Matt Schaub Wes Welker!!!
And 2005 DeMarcus Ware, Derrick Johnson, Aaron Rodgers, Roddy White, Nick Collins, Vincent Jackson, Justin Tuck, Trent Cole.
And we took Kenechi Udeze, which we can't really name a bust. He did decent but injures and now cancer kinda hurt him.
But 05 when we took Troy Williamson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-HyEemjm_7E

Imagine if we had a good free agent or two in there somewhere in the last 8 years. Allen trade was huge but other than that, nothing.

Do not forget about Pat Williams and Darren Sharper as well.80 PurplePride 84 wrote: Winfield and Hutchinson are two, but that's about it.
Dwight Smith...? (Ok, probably not, but I liked the guy! )
A Randy Moss fan for life. A Kevin Williams fan for life.

Most interesting to me is that 42 of the 58 players weren't with the team when they played the NFC title game just three years ago.
If you look at a similar chart three years from now you'll see fewer than 1/2 of the 37 players picked up in 2011 and 2012, so don't get too excited yet about the phenomenal success of the last two drafts. That's what it means to rebuild a team. You keep all the sixth and seventh rounders and odd free agents who blow through town.

What a great turnaround this season. From 3 wins to 8 and a potential playoff spot. Excellent construction of the team by the front office!
