Were Carr and Bowman signed by anyone? They would be better than nothing I would think... right?
Bowman ended up back with the Bears. I'm not sure about Carr.

Vikings still haven't filled that roster spot? I thought they might bring up Bobby Felder.

you guys really think chris cook is our biggest problem? robinson will step right in. if we had a real qb we would be 7-1 right now. ponder has done nothing except put this team in reverse.

That may ultimately prove to be true, but I'd hardly call 5-3 "in reverse."

Apparently Passes Defensed is not a stat.

Sure in garbage time? We totally overrate this guy so much.

Just a footnote for those that are curious:
TE Allen Reisner signed to Vikings 53 man roster. Roster was at 52 with Chris Cook placed on IR.

This doesn't make sense. Garbage time? You mean when teams are frantically trying to come back, where each completed pass is even that more important? Even in the case where there is virtually no chance of coming back, and they are still throwing, for a player to still be giving 100% (in soft coverage) and defending passes is honorable and adds to the stat doesn't take away from it (IMO).
The difference between men is not lack of strength, not lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.
