Percy

Extend him now. Lock him up! He deserves every penny of a superstar contract.

Here's how amazing he is: he's arguably overtaken Peterson as the face of the franchise. The face of the offense, at least.

Yep. Give him the big money. Even as much as AD. He is the best player in the NFL

I'm thinking that Harvin might be the most valuable skill player on offense for the Vikings.

Do anything to keep this guy around.

Tell you what ... it'll never happen, but this guy is the MVP in the NFL right now.

He's so great because we can use him in so many different ways and he's good at all the different positions he plays. Your right, we need to extend his contract ASAP before any other teams get too interested in him

PAY THE MAN!!! I can hear the cash register now and team's with great coaching like the Pats are probably salivating at the though of a UFA Harvin after next season.

Give him #1 WR money. Keep him here for good.

I love watching Percy and think nobody in the league is playing better football right now. My concern is will he be injured? And what will the Vikings offense look like if that happens?

Remember when other fans thought Percy was worth a 3rd round pick when that trade talk came up? Pffft, I about lost it when comment sections were piling up on that.

Except that (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) the rumor was Childress was against drafting Percy (at least initially).

True that Percy's style of play makes him more vulnerable to injury and also the whole migraine thing, but that's the dilemma that any team would face if one of their playmakers goes down. I don't think you can let that be too much of a factor in deciding how many years and $$$ to give him. And it's not like we'd be without weapons if Harvin misses games. We still have the best RB in the league and also some other decent targets for the passing game.

Don't the Vikings have a history of extending contracts during the season? Peterson did his last season and I think there have been others too. Pay Percy! This guy is MVP material, my god head coaches would gladly kill someone to get this guy on their team.

Yeah Spielman and some coaches wanted Harvin, Childress was against it, which prompted the home visit the day before the draft by Childress. (or so it was reported)
