There's always next year, Cris.

Nominated every year.

Passed over every year.

I guess 1,101 catches, 13,000+ yards and 130 TDs just isn't good enough.

Their refusal to induct Cris Carter is absolutely preposterous. He is top 5 in every category a wide receiver can be top 10 in and many years he had total nobodies throwing to him. 4 straight years they didn't put him in! Wasn't a single WR in his class last year in 2011 and they didn't put him in.

What is the point of a Hall of Fame if one of the greatest of all times, the Human Highlight Reel, Circus Catch Cris, All He Does Is Catch Touchdowns Cris Carter doesn't get in?

He gets overlooked because he isn't Jerry Rice. It is like not putting Gordie Howe in the Hall of Fame because he isn't Wayne Gretzky. Complete b.s. I wonder what complete STIFF gets in before Cris Carter this year?

He was clearly one of the best WR's the Vikings ever had, I don't understand why he wasn't already in the hall of fame. :wallbang:

Unfortunately Cris' early career drug problems in Philly, and perhaps his post career as an analyst haven't been of help to him. HoF induction is voted by humans not computers.

Hope he gets in soon. Amazing player. Probably the best hands of all time.

Shouldn't his post game career as an analyst help him out? I think he's one of the better athletes like that currently. Certainly leagues better than say, Shannon Sharpe.

It's because of his relationship with the media. Stupid he isn't in there.

How can he not be in the Hall of Fame? (Fast Forward to 36 seconds into the video and watch from there.) It's ridiculous....

It's beyond ridiculous. He should have gone in on the first ballot. He was that good and I'm stunned that he's still not in because I figured it would be a no-brainer. It's practically criminal that he's had to wait years beyond his HOF eligibility and he's still not a member of the HOF.

Yes, it will, although I think CC was as good or better than either one of them so let 'em wait for their turn! :)

I didn't see that. Good for Randall!

And if anyone thinks Cris Carter has baggage, it's nothing compared to those two...
