:smilevike:  :v): We're gonna stomp 'em. I think this team is going to be markedly better than last year's.

8-8 and building to the Super Bowl!

Hell, go about 8-8 and win the Super Bowl! Giants did it twice, why not us?

Vikings only have 7 offensive linemen active, and that includes Geoff Schwartz. They'd better stay healthy.

And only 4 wide receivers.

Sing along everybody...

It's the most wonderful time of the year
With our viking horns showing
And glee upon knowing the season is here
It's the most wonderful time of the year
It's the hap-happiest season of all
With our fun tailgating and scab ref berating
At Metrodome Mall
It's the hap-happiest season of all

There'll be gloom soon departing
Cuz AD is starting
And Ponder has much room to grow
Yes we're hankerin' and starvin'
For young Percy Harvin to
Make kick returns quite a show

It's the most wonderful time of the year
There'll be peeps going crazier
Deciphering Coach Frazier
And his cool veneer
It's the most wonderful time of the yeeeeeeeeeeeear!

Very well done! Thanks for posting that. I love that you rhymed Frazier with crazier but my favorite line was "With our fun tailgating and scab ref berating".

Oh man. I forget all about the scab refs until the carol. There is NO WAY the scabs can be more biased against the Vikes than their predecessors, is there?

Not sure if I consider this a good omen, but the #Vikings pregame sideline included the dwarf who played Mickey on Seinfeld.

Was told unless the Vikings have a huge walkup today that the team's regular-season sellout streak at the Dome wil end. Dates to 1998 season. Was pointed out the sellout streak actually ended in the preseason when neither the Bills or Chargers games sold out.
The difference is the Vikings now need to sell only 90 percent of Dome tickets to avoid a blackout. That was done.
