Jefferson has freak athleticism with 4.49 speed and a ridiculous 44" vertical at 6'0/193 from the 2010 Combine.

Exactly... Or at least that is how we have viewed the corner position the last 5 years.

They both suck. I don't see what this team sees in Pat Brown. He has slow feet and is penalty-prone. There are better guys out there, why not try to sign someone?

Love is done. I think you have to make the initial 53 and be placed on IR after Monday or something to be eligible for it. Love was IR'd to get to 53.

Ok, yeah. It's sometime on or after Tuesday, September 4, and the player has to have a "major" injury and be designated for return during the season. So yes, he'd have to be on the 53 man roster to qualify. He can return to practice after six weeks and to the active roster after eight weeks. I assume you can only designate one such player for return.
