Demi I guess in your little world DAs never suppress evidence to get convictions, and people don't go to extreme measures to hide the fact they were lying.
If the security's cameras showed AD drunk and belligerent it would have been sold to the highest bidder by now.
According to attorney Rusty Hardin, there is no surveillance video from the incident that led to Adrian Peterson's resisting arrest charge last weekend.
Police have yet to come forward with an explanation for the arrest that Peterson resisted. "That's because there wasn't anything to arrest him for, and that goes right to the heart of everything," Hardin said. Peterson's defense team has six witnesses ready to testify that the running back did nothing to merit an arrest. Without video evidence, charges won't stick. Hardin made it clear on the Dan Patrick Show Wednesday that Peterson is pushing for complete exoneration. Source: Profootballtalk on Twitter

The off duty cops where trying to clear the Bar and wanted to go home..
Peterson or one of his friends didn't like being treated like cattle out the
door. Someone said something and the OFF duty cops started acting like
ON duty cops and arrested Peterson.
During the arrest or at the jail one of the cops, punched Peterson a few times.
One of the cops was wrong IMO.. or they wouldn't be backing off from this
as quickly.
Proper police procedures are you don't punch people unless you have too.
Usually this would be to get someone to stop biting you or something
You control their hands first( to prevent weapons from being used)
and then force them to the ground and use your weight (usually a
knee in the back or at the base of the neck)( with leg extended out to
maintain your balance) and hopefully other officers to contain them..
while they are being cuffed. if the subject has an arm pinned underneath
one officer tweaks the wrist and the other with control the subjects elbow and
push the arm towards the other to apply the cuffs. Most departments
use Taser now for subjects that will not comply. Much safer for the
officers and subjects than fighting with them.
I have arrested dozens of felons and had knives pulled on me several times
(The town the store was in was 35 percent convicted felons) I only had to injure
one guy( he was on meth and pretty big guy) we had three guys trying to cuff
him and he was trying to throw a big sandwich bag full of meth to his friend
to avoid the drug charge. His left arm was cuffed but the room was to small
to take him to ground. I had my arms extended high into his chest. I grabbed
his right wrist, twisted it and cranked on it with everything I had and heard
a loud series of pops. (People not on drugs wouldn't fight against the arm being
cranked up.) I am sure his shoulder hurt like heck the next day in jail.
Adrian Peterson said charges have been dropped from his July resisting arrest incident at a Houston nightclub.
Peterson and his attorney insisted all along that he was the victim in the dust-up. There was never any evidence to the contrary. Now that he's in the clear, Peterson should not face league discipline for the incident. Source: Josina Anderson on Twitter
