Otherwise I can't wait to see #97 Everson Griffen take your spot and tear it up in the NFL. Griffen definitely has the talent to do well IF he focuses on the game. He fell down to the 4th round for a reason

He fell down to the 4th round for a reason I wouldn't be surprised if Ray and Griffen split the reps this season. I'm really excited to see Griffen play. You're quite right when you say he fell to the 4th round for a reason. Apparently, the coaches and the williams wall have been working with him and trying to keep him from getting lazy. When he plays at 110%, Griffen is a monster. He just needs to work hard, and he can be a good DE for our line.

Marc Colombo-T- Cowboys Jul. 29 - 8:20 pm et Coach Wade Phillips now acknowledges that he should not have played Marc Colombo in the playoffs last year after the right tackle rushed back from a broken leg and sprained ankle.
Colombo was abused by Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards, who racked up three sacks in the blowout. It's yet another reason to believe that Edwards' perceived stock was artificially inflated coming off a career year. Source: Dallas Morning News

 Re: Uh oh Ray Edwards......
Edwards has always been a selfish guy IMO. I wouldn't mind if we replaced him to be honest. I always lumped him in the group with that secondary guy that neck deep in the love boat. Gosh can't remember his name now. I think he went back to the redskins after he did nothing but run his mouth and do little on the field for us.

 Re: Uh oh Ray Edwards......
He just didn't attend the OTA's. Once the last OTA concluded he signed his tender offer. He should be in camp.

 Re: Uh oh Ray Edwards......
Ray's gotten his share of crap this offseason from a lot of fans (myself included) regarding his contract situation. I think it's only fair to point out he has apparently moved on and has been working hard to improve. He'll be playing motivated this season again to try and capitalize on free agency next year. For Edwards, contact trumps contractThe defensive end made his point in the offseason but says he's focused, with help from boxing workouts.Quote: Edwards doesn't sound like a guy who sat around and sulked. He focused on getting leaner while maintaining his weight (268 pounds). His workout regimen consisted of mixed martial arts and boxing.
"My workouts were crazy," he said. "I was working out three times a day just trying to get better." Quote: "Every year I get off to a slow start, so that's my goal this year is to start out fast and finish even stronger," he said. "Just trying to continue to keep it going."
