Re: Vikings @ Bills post game
@ Cliff and @ Crax. Great responses, thanks. Cliff, yours had me rolling. Well played. :beerock: Crax: really appreciate this insight. So it's not crazy to think that they came out with that initial line with the intent to BE provocative, right? And get folks to put money down... In that cas...

Re: Vikings @ Bills post game
Someone who knows more about odds making: how are these lines set? Is it some extremely scientific/ advanced metrics team in Vegas who set the initial line and then it adjusts throughout the week according to how the money comes in? If so, is it purposefully controversial in order to promote bettin...

Re: Justin Jefferson
Moss had one skill? He couldn't catch a football? I don't remember too many drops or balls bouncing off his hands. How about returning punts? Moss made stiff QBs look like HOFer. Salisbury steak was one of them. Once Cousin steps down and we start the recycling of stiffs again JJs numbers will chan...

NFL admits replay official did not follow two minute guidelines. Where do you see that? Mentioned in this article here, said they were going to look into why it wasn't reviewed https://www.twincities.com/2022/11/13/mother-of-dalvin-and-james-cook-doesnt-want-the-two-to-face-off-again-unless-its-in-...

Re: Any trade prospects, ahead of the deadline?
Claypool over to the Bears, so scratch that one from the Vikings possibilities. After trading for a TE, we'll see if anything else is in the works

Re: Any trade prospects, ahead of the deadline?
Back to the topic.... Keep hearing talks about Claypool from PIT and Cooks from Texans being potential pieces on the trading block. I'd take either one of those at this point. I think Cooks is something like 80 mil though, not sure what we'd have to figure out to fit that contract. And it sounds li...

Re: Vikings (1-0) at Eagles (1-0) MNF Week 2
I've seen play-calling coming up as being bad to which I'd ask - how so? How can you tell a "bad" play call vs. the team not executing? Was it a "bad" running play call or was blocking terrible? Was it a "bad" passing play call or did someone drop it? Did the QB throw ...

Re: Vikings (1-0) at Eagles (1-0) MNF Week 2
it looks like Pat Pete may have signed on for one year too many. Man he looked slow. So did Eric Kendricks. There was a play where Kendricks was in the right position to tip/intercept the ball and he just barely missed it and it led to a big gain, I feel like a year or two ago and he would have had...

Re: Vikings (1-0) at Eagles (1-0) MNF Week 2
Evidently, the Eagles have the best ranked OL according to PFF https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-offensive-line-rankings-week-1-2022 They've shown to be run heavy so far and the Vikings will have to be careful, but I'm hoping our newly retooled DL can get some more sacks this week and knock their OL down...

Vikings (1-0) at Eagles (1-0) MNF Week 2
Vikings come into week 2 vs the Eagles who beat Detroit in Week 1. Eagles put up 35 points with 216 yards rushing so it will be interesting to see how the run D looks in this game. Likely a lot of week 1 overreactions going on, but here is how the two teams sit in the power rankings. NFL - Vikings 7...

Re: Vikings vs. Packers Postgame
Great win. Have to be cautiously optimistic about this team. Defense had some good moments, still worried about the run d. No real complaints about scoring 17 points in the first half, but only two field goals total in the 2nd half does concern me a bit. Jefferson, Cousins, and Cook all played amazi...
