Re: Cardinals-Vikings post game

Not sure I can blame Zimmer or the coaching staff for this one. We played pretty well for most of the game, made big plays, stopped them when we had to, and the stupid kicker just missed a simple FG. At least the team came out ready to play today, against a talented team. Last week was a garbage fir...

Abdullah will be back and so will Griffen.
If Rose is put on the practice squad then see you Abdullah
Both Rose and Abdullah are on the Practice Squad for now.

He's been waived with an injury settlement.

Re: Vikings cuts:

Ameer Abdullah is a shocker... special teams guy, versatile, decent RB and receiver. Who's gonna field punts? I still have PTSD from Osborne as a punt returner.

I'm a little worried that A.J. Rose won't clear waivers and we'll lose him. He showed some talent in preseason.

Re: Preseason game #2 Colts at Vikings

The backup QB situation is pretty grim. Browning looks lost and Mond is erratic and not ready to play. With Cousins' vulnerability to Covid and the possibility of injury, we need to bring a competent backup QB into the team.

I'm usually optimistic at this point in the preseason... not this year.

Re: Vikings QB Kellen Mond test positive for COVID; three QBs including Kirk Cousins expected to miss practice

While the virus behavior is fairly well understood, thanks to a decade of prior research into Corona viruses, the specific pathology of each variant is still developing. We won't know for sure what all the long term effects can be, and they are unlikely to be the same for each patient. Some of the p...

Re: Deja vu all over again? Hunter not at OTA's.

This is crazy, Danielle needs to show up to training camp and fulfill his current contract. He got paid last year and gave the team zero. Hate to lose him, but making him the highest paid defensive player or anything near that is nuts. He could last five plays, or five games, of five more years. Let...

Re: Undrafted free agent list

I know. See what he does. More than likely the practice squad for a year and then????? That’s usually the path although he doesn’t really have a lot of guys to beat to make the squad. Vikings will keep at least 5 WRs, maybe 6. And only 2 are locks with Smith-Marsette likely to also be a lock. Bisi ...

We need a healthy Eric Kendricks to contain their running game and disrupt the short passing game.

Think of this season as a painfully long pre-season... let's evaluate a bunch of young players and see if there are any keepers. We ain't beating anybody with this mess. :hitfan:

Bisi is simply not an NFL-caliber WR2, but that slant was poorly thrown, too. Both things can be true.

I think you nailed the main problem. Bisi is not an NFL-caliber WR. Certainly not a WR2.

Re: Vikings Week 2: Good, Bad, and the Ugly

There ain't much good... lots of bad, and plenty of downright ugly. Pretty sad state of affairs... the talent has been drained from the team to a degree that is not easily recovered. I fear we are in for a very painful season. I don't see us beating anybody right now. On defense We lost both startin...
