Re: Week 4 reaction thread
As soon as Forbath missed the FG (after the announcers brought up how he was perfect lol) - I turned the game off. I knew what was coming - at least I managed to be productive the rest of the day haha. Unfortunately, a lot of the same issues that plagued this team last year reared it's head again to...

Re: "Near Complete ACL Tear" For Dalvin Cook Reported By NFL
Cook appeared to go into valgus collapse with knee extension. That is the classic injury mechanism for a non-contact ACL injury. I grimaced as soon as I saw that. Unfortunately, if the Lochman's Test and/or the Anterior Drawer test for the knee were positive (the tests I am assuming were performed) ...

Re: Bradford Over/Under 25 TDs?
Nothing I have seen this offseason and preseason has inspired me to suddenly believe Sam Bradford will become an elite passer. Give me the under.

Re: Preseason Game 3 49ers at Vikings
Our starting offense had 11 drives this preseason. They scored 3 points. Absolutely embarrassing and inexcusable. Our starting defense hasn't shown much better. It is concerning that both starting units could not even execute 'vanilla' schemes well. My Preseason Observations: - Michael Remmers total...

Jim,
Thanks for being an active member and for being thoughtful to me all those years ago when I joined the board.
I don't post here much anymore, but I wanted to post a proper good-bye.
I appreciate your insights, generosity, and willingness to engage with members.
You'll be missed.

Re: 2017 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,
Here is what you said, verbatim: 1). After specifically responding to my post about Easton and his bad snap you label me - "I notice that a lot of fans on this forum are so unbelievably quick to judge." 2). My post is directly referenced: "Not trying to offend anyone because everyone ...

Re: 2017 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,
This isnt directed at anyone specifically, I'm just saying this in general. I dont want to offend anyone. It is. You are just not using anyone's name. You literally labeled me as a 'bad fan' using the premise of my post above. You are continually passive aggressive on this board and continually bel...

Re: 2017 Season General Comments (pressers, practice notes,
If Easton is the opening day starter then I will be extremely disappointed. Easton is not a good player. Has everyone already forgot one of the worst snaps in NFL history?

Re: Floyd tests positive for alcohol
It is always SOMETHING with this franchise. Literally cannot go a year without something astronomically embarrassing happening.
He needs help. I hope Minnesota can help get him the resources he needs. However, he doesn't deserve a spot on this roster - cut him.

Re: Reusse: Zimmer's leadership of Vikings deserving of scru
Great timing on this article by Reusse - given what is happening with Mike Zimmer's health.
Anyway, Zimmer definitely should be held responsible for what happens this season. A losing season is unacceptable. Another 8-8 season, at least in my mind, is also unacceptable.

Go Teddy. Hope he can come back healthy and reclaim the job. We need a winner at the QB position: Teddy is one.

Re: Vikings select RB Dalvin Cook, Florida St.
Interesting line from Sports Illustrated's MMQB today: Read the full article. It's part of Peter King's preseason NFL power rankings. He has the Vikings 16th, which is about where they belong. Dalvin Cook sure is generating a lot of hype for a second round rookie. Moreover, a rookie who has yet to ...

On Will Sutton: I was a big fan of him and wanted us to draft him a few years ago. I hope he can show something and make the team.
