Re: Bradfords knee??
Everyone saying put Sloter in, here is my question.... Are we in this to win games or are we here to see if we can find some miracle QB that we dug up off Denvers practice squad?? If Bradford is out for the year or most of the year and our season is in the tank, yeah you try Sloter then. Not when y...

yeah, I'm familiar with him as an expert, I just thought there was some controversy around him recently...but I couldn't find anything to support that.S197 wrote: I would categorize him more as a knee expert. He's worked on a lot of ACL injuries. I think this includes Adrian Peterson.

Re: Bradfords knee??
What happens if you pull Keenum out early and Sloter looks completely lost out there? I think Keenum is the starter unless he gets hurt. I'm not really saying pull Keenum out as much as I am saying start Sloter just to see what he has.So the short hook comment was in the context of a week to week s...

There's still so much that could happen this season....i just hope they shift their thinking some, cause I believe they a great assemblage of talent.Norv Zimmer wrote: I concur, what pisses me off most about this team is how on 3rd and 15 they run a draw play to Mckinnon instead of throwing it deep.

Re: Bradfords knee??
I really don't think Keenum played all that bad last week. 1. His line played like garbage. 2. Put in Sirles at LG please. 3. Give the ball to Cook more, no more RB rotation. 4. Full week of prep as starter this week. 5. Home game. It's true Keenum did not play bad...he also did absolutely nothing ...

Re: Bradfords knee??
I don't trust either of their knees yet. It's really not a good situation. If either or both of them pans out, then hooray. But if they both prove physically unreliable, as has been their histories to this point, then a whole season is wasted figuring this out..if it is even known by the end of this...

Re: Bradfords knee??
I don't think keeping your team afloat =/= going into Pitt and winning week two against a team that is "suppose" to make a superbowl run. We were a couple of penalties away from it easily being a 16-20 score line. That's not bad. agreed...but those penalties were not on keenum. the offens...

Re: Bradfords knee??
i think it's pretty stupid and archaic to use guys that have failed as backups. there are only a select few who are actually capable of keeping your team afloat. it makes way more sense to me...especially if you have a decent team...to a draft a guy with legit upside rather than put a known failure ...

Re: Week 2 reaction thread
i know keenam had little time to prepare...but he as a body of work and is known commidity. you can't teach instincts and he seems to lack them at critical points. which is why he was available...as a backup. i would much rather have a raw guy with good instincts and coachable flaws than some guy wh...
