Re: 2014 Vikings Training Camp notes/interviews

That's too bad. I wonder if this will just hasten his departure. I think Chad's got some good football left and Zimmer will be a good guy to get that out of him but I get a feeling that this might not be good for Greenway's future with the team (especially considering that video I saw the other day...

Re: 2014 Vikings Training Camp notes/interviews

Yeah, but I hear those overthrows were all nice, tight spirals. They say he throws a pretty ball. https://warosu.org/data/cgl/img/0069/24/1371929547165.jpg Bridgewater certainly does look rather delicate. I don't think all the time in the weight room or at the training table can change that. We jus...

Re: Cordarrelle Patterson is just a different cat

Patterson looks kinda soft in the photos that I've seen of him at camp. Has he gained some weight in the offseason? So is he the guy who failed his conditioning test and didn't practice? They said all the players passed except for one and wouldn't name him, but then later CP is seen not practicing....

Re: 2014 Vikings Training Camp notes/interviews

Ya, wow. What a change compared to Frazier. There's actually some enthusiasm and energy, and that will come through in the players eventually. No more laid-back pleasantness and calm. Time to wake up. I like how he's already ribbing Harrison Smith and other DBs. One thing that stood out in that vide...

Re: Sidney Rice retires

Rice really screwed this team over by waiting to get surgery. I honestly don't feel like our team would have been nearly as bad in 2010 had Rice had surgery early in the offseason and been on the field Yup, that injury had a big impact on the immediate future of the team. No Sidney so they trade fo...

Wow :o When and where did he proclaim that Kaepernick will be the greatest QB of all time. I would love to see the source/link. http://espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp13/story/_/id/9590058/ron-jaworski-says-colin-kaepernick-one-greatest-quarterbacks-ever SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Niners quarterback Colin ...

Re: Don't bet your last dollar that Cassel is the anointed o

So Jaws is comfortable in saying that guys like Jake Locker, Chad Henne, and Geno Smith are all better than Cassell?

This is the same guy who has proclaimed that Kaepernick will be the greatest NFL QB of all time.

Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer

Yes, a lot of people do. As someone who has experienced this type of discrimination directly...I am very interested. The problem I have with all of this is how Kluwe has handled it. I agree with Kluwe's stance on the issue but his approach has been ridiculous and somewhat suspect. He wants to cast ...

Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer

With how self-righteous Kluwe has acted, and referring to is as a "promise" to release the information, I'm guessing that the Vikings are in no way legally required to release this information and it's just Kluwe acting like a dick and trying to manipulate the situation through the media....

Re: Notable NFL News (cuts, signings, etc.)

I know Flowers is basically another Munnerlyn, but damn, I would love to have him on the team. Has he always been a slot CB? From what I've read, seems like he just didn't fit with the new DC last year and was maybe miscast as a slot guy. I have a hazy recollection of him being a CB1 or CB2 years a...

Re: Notable NFL News (cuts, signings, etc.)

That contract is #### crazy. I can't blame the 49ers for wanting to lock him down but damn, that is ridiculous for a guy who is that young and unproven. NFL QBs are going to start getting paid like elite MLB pitchers, 25+ million a year.

Re: Ten Summertime Trade Candidates

I went with Moore. He's got some good speed and playmaking ability, could maybe be had for a decent price. A defensive player would probably be the better target, though. Flowers would probably be too expensive

Sure, but that's a horse #### reason and you know it. Maybe he should let the people he hired to run the team do their jobs and he can stick to just signing the paychecks.
