Re: Harvin traded

Seattle probably went Harvin over Cruz due to familiarity among the coaches. For one, Pete recruited Percy out of high school to come to USC, so he got to know Percy a bit. Then the obvious is that the O-Coordinator in Seattle is Darrell Bevell who was in Minnesota for Percy's rookie year. Plus...It...

Re: Harvin traded

...and wtf is it with Seatle?? They took Rice AND Harvin....next year they will engineer a way to get AP, right?? Steve Hutchinson, John Carlson both from Seattle. Heath Farwell former Vikings ST Pro-Bowler in the same role for Seattle now. Bevell their OC who had also brought in Tarvaris. It's str...

Re: 2013 Free Agent Tracker & Discussion

Followed Braylon a bit while he was here in Seattle and I just don't think he's worth it unless Minnesota wants another "serviceable" vet. They need a young and fresh direction. Losing Percy obviously stings, but I'm much more confident today with Spielman making the moves than I would have been in ...

Re: Best case, worst case, long term from the Harvin deal.

DT, WR, WR is how I see this playing out. There's good first round depth at DT in this draft so getting someone like Richardson or Hankins at 23 would be good and Woods then Swope with the next two may be the way to go.

Unless Tavon falls to 23.

Re: Harvin traded

Hmm, Glad he's gone. If he didn't want to be Viking and Honour his Draft Contract he was happy to sign like a grown Man then #### HIM. Another Smart Assed injury prone Jerk Off gone to Seattle. Seattle is becoming the new raiders, a Team full of ungrateful DICK HEADS only wanting more Money. Be a M...

Re: Best case, worst case, long term from the Harvin deal.

Minnesota hits a homerun with their two first rounders and things keep progressing in the right direction.

Personally, I hope Seattle never sniffs the Super Bowl.

Re: Harvin traded

Just had to be the Seahawks didn't it? Smh...I live in Seattle. This hurts. Given the situation though,I think it should work out for both teams if the Vikings can hit on the draft picks. Hate to see him go man, and I back up AP's sentiments. I tried getting on the local sports radio show to impart ...

Re: First Round

Looking at how this draft may play out, the chances of Patterson or Austin falling to them are slim to none so I don't see WR a necessity in the first round. There is a lot of value at the DT position as well and I would be more comfortable them going after Sheldon Richardson or Jonathan Hankins in ...

Re: Percy's future w/ Vikings looking uncertain

If he doesn't think he's in a great situation for himself in Minnesota then he's nuts. 90% of the teams he would go to do not need to use Percy the way the Vikings did and he probably isn't utilized to the optimum capacity in which he wants to be if he goes elsewhere. Minnesota's offense demanded th...

DHB is not a good football player. Not at the NFL level, at least. Alexander is intriguing though.

Re: Percy's future w/ Vikings looking uncertain

I still believe it's more on the side of speculation than full truth, although I really do believe Percy is trying to get paid. My best guess is that his agent is trying to inflate Percy's own value of himself so that they shoot for CJ money, but land on Bowe money. Elementary, yet effective, negoti...
