Re: Brian O'Neil surprises

Definitely. The way O'neill picked up those stunts by GB shows that he is better than Hill.

Throw the kid into the fire, find out what he is made of.

Re: Vikings Vs. Packers Postgame Thread

 http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000963544/article/nfl-to-use-clay-matthews-penalty-in-teaching-video The NFL will be distributing a video staring Clay Matthews hit on Kirk Cousins. It will be a teaching video about how NOT to hit a Quarterback. So all the Packer fans and Aaron Rodgers ###...

Re: The Kicker...AGAIN!

If the Vikings front office truly believes this is a Super Bowl winning roster, then they need to swallow their pride and call Kai Forbath. He may not be a younger Adam Vinatieri but he is better then what we have.

Forbath is a know quantity, Dan Bailey is not.

Re: Vikings Vs. Packers Postgame Thread

People here are letting our defense of the hook. So many miss tackles today. The front four could not get to Rodgers. This is not how Championship Defenses play.

Re: Inside Laquon Treadwell's Redemption Tour

If his 4.57 time in the forty yard dash wasn't a warning sign then I don't know what is. He puts zero fear into opposing db's and 100% fear into the fans. I think they fell in love with his size rather than his talent. Ummm. Threadwell was the most talented WR coming out of HS. He was the most tale...

Yes O'Neill did do a great job and speaking of Clay Matthews even I have to admit that wasn't roughing the passer.
Agreed, but the one earlier against Sheldon Richardson wasn't either. Like I said, the new driving the QB (Read Rodgers Rule) is going to drive me insane.

Re: Vikings Vs. Packers Postgame Thread

Everyone here just summed up perfectly how I feel about Threadwell and Carlson.

You guys left out what a great job Brian O'neil did at Right Tackle. After he came in Clay Mathews did not get close to Cousins.

Re: Game Day Chat or Game Day Thread?

Threadwell has gone the Blair Walsh route. Mentally I don't see how he gets past this game.

Re: Vikings Vs. 49ers Postgame Thread

2 thoughts. Cousins is the closest thing to Aaron Rodgers this franchise will ever see. The way this kid can throw the ball from any angle and pretty accurate with it too. The new Aaron Rodgers rule about driving the QB is going to make me insane. Rodgers just got a knee injury from one of his OL be...

Re: 53 man roster...Cuts and trades

Yup. OL keeps getting fatter and slower while DL keeps getting faster and more athletic. I don't know if any OL that is under 300lbs today. Randle McDaniel, Anthony Munoz, those guys I believe were around 270 lbs when they played.

Re: Preseason Week 1 Post Game Thoughts

Can't remember the last time our Offense scored 42 points. I understand it's just preseason but it was fun to watch. Normally with team that has a franchise QB, they only keep 2 and not waste roster spot on a clip holder. But this kid Sloter shows so much potential I can't see Zim trying to sneak hi...

Re: Vikings Draft Picks

Wow, a lot of anger over not picking Hernandez. A guy that lunges way too much for my liking. O'neil was one of my wish list for day 2 so I will bang the table for him. He's better people here give him credit for. And I think he will prove it in camp. He might beat out Reiff for LT and moving him to...

Re: Interior Offensive Linemen

I voted for Isiah Wynn. In my opinion, he is the best 1 on 1 blocker in this draft. If the Vikings move up to get him, AND THEY WILL HAVE TO DO THAT. The "experts" project him as a Guard because of his lack of height and short arms. I think he beats Riley Reiff for the starting LT spot. The Vikings ...
