Re: Next years QB
Cousins reminds me of Cutler. Would rather spend the money on keeping the defense near the top of the league and have a qb that does not take a lot of sacks. Generally Keenum got the ball to the right place on time which is 90% of the job. Hope we can keep a good backup too. If we cannot keep Teddy ...

Re: Next years QB
Just thinking out loud but lets not forget Payton was very non-committal to Brees after the loss. Offer him a stupid amount of money and go all in next year. McKinnon may be the only guy we need to sign this free agency. A lot more guys the following year but for at least one more season the team i...

Re: Next years QB
Something changed down the stretch and in the playoffs case got more conservative less mobile or something the big or explosive or lucky plays went down. Personally I think it was the coaches pulling it in I agree. The coaches got scared. You could see it in the Chicago game. It was a totally diffe...

Re: Next years QB
I feel like if they went back to Teddy it would be a wasted year. He could not make quick decisions back there and took too many sacks. Keenum was a one year wonder, and Cousins would be a lot of money spent on a guy who also takes way too many sacks and is loose with the ball. He’s closer to Cutler...

Re: NFC Championship Reaction Thread
My reaction: sadly, like many of us, I'm used to this kind of postseason disappointment. Now I'm already wondering how long it will be before they get another crack at going to the Super Bowl. Well if you look at the pattern, it will probably be around 10 years until they work their way back to the...

For sure. Great awareness by him to realize nobody was behind him and to not go out of bounds. Great throw by Case as well.dead_poet wrote: Gotta be Diggs

Re: Bradford Could Return (?)
If Keenum is hurt in a playoff game and we need a score, a healthy Bradford is an easy choice over a rusty Bridgewater Not sure if I could agree with that. He is a sitting duck in the pocket and every defense he would face is going to be pretty good, and our line is not going to be at full strength...

Not surprising since he is a terrible qb.PurpleMustReign wrote:Cam Newton is having an awful game. I'm surprised Carolina has as many wins as they do.

Would rather face a team we haven’t already beaten. Carolina

Re: Week 16 Reaction Thread
Obviously came in with a pretty conservative plan of attack figuring that GB needed to prove they could score. Once they lost Nelson there was really nothing left other than Hundley running around. Think the cold and bad field conditions threw off some of the timing. Just missed on a few long passes...
