http://thevikingage.com/2016/01/22/minnesota-vikings-terrell-sinkfield-hopkins/ I guess I have to like him again  . He played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats which as a fan of the Toronto Argonauts is the equivalent of the Packers. Sinkfield really came on last year in the CFL. Good speed and prese...

Stadium I think.

Re: Thoughts on Disappointing Seasons & Blair Walsh

Someone on local radio in Toronto conceded that, yes, Blair Walsh was responsible for all 9 of the team's points. He equated it to a goalie in hockey saving 40 shots in regulation, but then giving up a floater from the blue-line in OT to lose the game. People will still label him as the goat.

Re: Fan Reaction Videos

http://dailysnark.com/compilation-hilariously-sad-reactions-vikings-fans-missed-kick/ Hopefully that link works. It shows about 10 fan reaction videos to the Walsh miss. For some reason it helps me feel a little better. How did you guys react? Screaming, crying, pouting, break anything, hurt anyone...

Re: Thoughts on Disappointing Seasons & Blair Walsh

Wasn't there a team that carried two kickers on the roster not that long ago... a long kicker for kickoffs and long FG tries, and another kicker for FG's inside 45 yards... anybody remember who that was? I know the Calgary Stampeders carry three kickers actually (two are used for the purpose you st...

Re: Thoughts on Disappointing Seasons & Blair Walsh

The Blair Walsh miss reminds me of a situation we had up here in Canada. The Saskatchewan Roughriders lost the 2004 Western Final to the BC Lions because their K Paul McCallum missed a short FG in OT or something like that. He subsequently had cow manure (only in Saskatchewan) dumped on his lawn. Yo...

Do any of you have a 2nd team you'll root for?

I admit that I'll root for Miami (not against MIN of course). I usually visit S. Fla once a year and go to a game down there so I follow that team a little more than others.

Anyone else?

Re: Washington state vikes fan

I'm a bit surprised by the statement bolded above since the Seahawks have been in the league since 1976. But I assume you are referring to those fans who only became fans since the Seahawks won the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. But it is just a fact of life, there are always going to be bandwag...

The more information we know about brain injuries and the like, then the more that we will see this type of situation. Although, it simply could be the same situation as Barry Sanders.

RIP David Bowie

It was pretty shocking to hear the news this morning because nobody had any idea that he was ill. I'll always think of him as a guy who was able to remain relevant even as musical styles changed greatly. He will be missed.

Re: Most Encouraging Sign for 2016

Just my $0.02. Nothing fun about a last second loss but I saw much positivity for the future in the game thread, a feeling I share. A quick thought, nothing novel I'm sure, it's been a while since I posted. The players play the games (cliche). But I think it is tremendously promising that Zimmer an...

I guess you have a very good threshold for pain and heartbreak  . I rooted for the Bills myself for a couple of years because Flutie was playing there, but put them aside when Wade Phillips decided to start Johnson.

Re: Adrian Peterson -- The elephant in the room

That's what I wonder as well. He had some good moments when Peterson was suspended, but also some mediocre games as well. He's appeared to have improved with experience though since then so I guess it's a matter of if the staff believes he can be the main guy or not. I don't think he would do worse...
