Re: Who would you rather play in the playoffs, NO or CAR?

I agree 100 % there about Payton. Have zero respect for him. Would love to destroy him in our house but they still scare me. If we can pressure Brees we should be ok but Brees is such a competitor and if he has time and gets hot he can be scary.[/quote The Panthers just cannot stop the pass. They a...

Re: What's your story?

It wasn't until I was 9-10 years old that I started to pay attention to pro sports and mid 70s the Viks had such a strong exciting team. Even though I grew up about an hour from St Louis In Illinois the Cardinals just didn't interest me even though they had a decent team. Remembering watching Page, ...

Re: Who would you rather play in the playoffs, NO or CAR?

So far the Saints ripping the Panthers a new one. Looking far superior in first half. Defense can't stop Bree's and company. Gawd I hate that smug S. Payton

Re: Week 17 Vikes-Bears game thread

One thing I hope Zimmer addresses over the next two weeks: the Vikings corners were playing pretty grabby football today. They were getting away with it but they can't make a habit of that stuff because all it will take is a picky officiating crew in the playoffs to turn those jersey grabs and that...

Example.....when they let Wilson make that crazy scramble scramble completion against us in an otherwise strong showing by the defense. This years team has a little different "feel" though. Maybe more comfortable and confident.

Re: Week 14 Reaction Thread

How is Funches that wide open at the goal line? Seems like Sendejo was closing way to fast when Cam broke that long run......it made for an easy side step for Cam. Lots of drops by our guys....OL in shambles led to a very poor day running the ball. And still close at the end. If the OL can get healt...

Can't remember but there was a few guys here that thought Shurmur was not going to be as "good" a play caller as Turner.........time for your crow....please step forward.......

Re: Week 13 reaction thread

I really like that Wright, Treadwell, and Floyd made some key catches today. Sucks that Morgan has a cuncussion because he is a hell of a blocker. Alexander is quietly have a better season than I predicted. I would have preferred more points but strong team win today.

What would happen if Teddy has a terrible game? Are you flip flopping? I don't agree with you on this.

Re: It's time to give Case Keenum his due

Who our QB will be in 2018 is going to make for a very interesting March. At this point four names are in the hat to varying degrees: Cousins Bradford Keenum Bridgewater All have their positives and negatives. If he is Healthy, Bradford is the best QB of the lot. TB is a complete wildcard. In both ...

Re: Week 12 Reaction Thread

When a team is up, and the coaching staff decides to "not" go for the throat, it's dangerous. Conservative football in the second half, and especially in the 4th, can cost you a game. Luckily it did not happen this time. Go Vikes...Hey OC, how about going for a couple more touchdowns next...

Re: PFF: Do the Minnesota Vikings have the NFL's best WR duo

No, I don't. Just off the top of my head the steelers recievers are better, Oakland's Wrs are better too. Dallas WRS are just as good if not better. Our QRs are Pretty freaking good IF DIGGS can STAY HEALTHY. Anthony Carter was smaller than Diggs but he could stay on the Field. What an awesome WR A...

Re: Week 11 Reaction Thread

Dude, we were underestimated BY THE ANNOUNCERS at the end of THIS GAME. They kept talking about the Rams as if this was nothing but a blip on the radar. Then Kevin Burkhart asked, "What about this Vikings team? Are they for real?" THEY'RE 8-2 AND JUST DOMINATED THE NO. 1 OFFENSE IN THE NF...
