Unless there is a huge change in rules, it won't be broken. As stated earlier, it would take a 13 year career and an average of 6 picks a season. 6 picks in a season is a phenomenal season. It would take the Adrian Peterson of DB's never missing a game to break the record.

There is a lot more to being a coordinator than calling plays. Not much different than a HC calling offensive plays. The coordinator still coaches, coordinates, and does all the other day to day duties. Probably not an ideal situation for a coordinator though. It is almost like have a RB in the game...

I think we are a little young to become the TOP defense this year. But give it another season or two and just maybe?
