This makes more sense. Ticker on NFL network hasn't updated though. We should be picking here again in a few minutes.Canuck wrote:droped 10 picks for a 7th....

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread - Rounds 4-7
There has to be something else. They didn't trade there 5th to just move down to the 7th.HardcoreVikesFan wrote:So... We traded down all the way just for an extra seventh?

Traded the second pick in round 5. Guess Spielman wants extra picks to add depth.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread - Round 2 & 3
Oh so they let the guys who get left out in the 2nd round pick later? Cool. Just curious as I don't watch much draft after round 1. In fact I am about to turn it off as I don't watch much College Football and after round 1 I am pretty lost.

Bridgewater starts when?
Just a poll for fun. This is when you THINK he starts not when you want him to start. I think the Vikings start him this season. Pretty sure they will be eliminated from playoff contention late, so I say Bridgewater gets in a game or 2 as starter. Then there is also the possible of injury or bad pla...

Re: Teddy Bridgewater
Interesting stat i just thought about. Since Spielman whiffed on the Ponder pick, we got Rudolph that same year in round 2, and 7 first round picks!

Re: Quarterback or Defensive Player
Only QB I take at 8 is Manziel. Bortles and Bridewater can be had later with a little Spielman magic.
Pretty sure they trade down and go defense.
But my god would it be fun and entertaining if Johnny Football was the pick at 8.

Re: End Zone Dunk
Hopefully they look at banning the Lambeau leap next. "Todays NFL" and they let guys jump into the stands? Gee, that isn't a little excessive celebration! Had this originated anywere but Green Bay it would have been banned already IMO. But it's Green Bay and we now they are the darlings o...

Re: Notable NFL News (cuts, signings, etc.)
What I like is how the Eagles are saying they didn't trade him because they didnwant to saddle any other team with his problems. I call some serious BS on that one. They didn't trade him because no one would take the bait.
