Re: Congrats from WhoDat Nation
There are plenty of good fans for every organization. And there are plenty of A-holes abound for every one as well. Vikings included.

Re: Bill Barnwell (ESPN) ranks the NFLs defensive triplets
I take almost all of these ranking pieces with a grain of salt, but I think the Vikings strength is more that there is no ONE star on the defense, it is good because of a lot of guys doing a good job. We don't have a JJ Watt where someone is in on virtually every play. I would love to have a few guy...

Re: Safeties to watch 2016
This year seems to be an exceptionally remarkable year for Safety prospects coming out of college, particularly Strong Safety. I suspect we can get a good one still in the 2nd/3rd/4th rounds. In years past, the classes seem to consist of 1-3 guys that really stood out and a bunch of projects. Might ...

Re: 2016 draft: offensive linemen to watch
Landon Turner might be a fit in our system. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1824165/landon-turner STRENGTHS: An imposing blocker with a thick lower body and core strength that allows him to latch-and-drive defenders with his hands. Has a wide base and anchors well, squaring to his target ...

Re: Vikings set to interview former Eagles OC Pat Shurmur
Yes, the Vikes coaching staff is a bit of a family affair, with Turner's son Scott as QB coach and mike Zimmer's son Adam coaching the linebackers. Only difference in my mind is that I have seen a notable improvement in LB play over past 2 seasons, and while I still like Bridgewater better than the...

Re: march 9 is the kalil deadline
I personally believe that quality offensive lineman hardly ever hit free agency. Coming off being a Rams fan I was pumped when they signed Jake Long. I thought he would be great and that the injuries were behind him. They weren't and he wasn't . Typically there is a reason they hit free agency. If ...

Re: I'm taking a short hiatus
My guess is he just wants to call some attention to some work he is doing in another portion of the board. But since most people don't browse that part, putting a clue in the most viewed area of the site was the way to "point" to it?
If that isn't it, then I don't get the "point"

Re: Which camp story are you most interested in following?
I selected LG spot, Patterson vs Playing Time, and Babs, but in all honesty, Im interested in most of the camp stories that have nothing to do with AP holding out, talking about APs off the field issues last year, AP wanting to be on another team, or any other negatively charged stories surrounding ...

Im sure Im stating the obvious here, but I really hope that Patterson's off season work translates to something positive on the field. Last year was a huge disappointment.

Re: Rick Spielman's Post Draft interview
Exactly what I'm saying!! But for some reason guys want to still criticize Spielman for it. Like anyone would have done any better  I don't blame Rick for the Kalil issues. He was the consensus best LT in the draft, we had a GLARING need at that position. He even started off his initial seaso...

Re: Rick Spielman's Post Draft interview
I'm not going to quote the whole post, but that link didn't clarify anything other than anecdotal evidence that the Vikings liked Manziel. It still doesn't mean that they were targeting him in a potential trade. http://www.dailynorseman.com/2014/5/8/5697718/minnesota-vikings-johnny-manziel-clevelan...

Re: Vikings sign entire 2015 draft class
I think after the CBAs and rookie salary caps, this is going to become the norm. It took a couple years for everyone to get comfortable with it, but think the agents and players know now that there is not much negotiating to do with their drafted players. Winston was signed before the draft was over...

Re: Rick Spielman's Post Draft interview
I'm somewhat new here so bear with me, but what is your guys general opinion on Speilman. Im not a big fan of Speilman's. My opinion of him has gotten a bit better over the last couple of years, but I still don't think he has done enough to get us to the level we want to be at. And lastly, as I hav...

Re: 2.45 Vikings select LB- Eric Kendricks UCLA
This team needs talented players, ones that can execute the plays called. They dont need speed. Luckily, Kendricks is going to be a star on our D. The best player we have drafted this year. I look forward to seeing him and Barr blow things up. Im not talking about Raiders, draft that fastest, stron...

Re: 3.88 Vikings select DE- Danielle Hunter LSU
I wasn't thrilled about this pick. Feels so much like the Crichton pick last year. We already have a guy drafted too early in a draft that can't play the position. Hopefully this doesn't make 2. I have criticized Spielman in the past for throwing away valuable picks to move up a few spots. But this ...
