Re: NFL Top 100 of 2017

Funny CBSSports came out with a list a few days ago and there were something like two vikings in the top 100.

Re: What is your minimum definition of success for the 2018-19 season?

What's amazing about that list, Jim, is that isn't that long of a timeframe... 40 years and 25 different teams. Like you said, just get to one. The NFL is unrivaled in it's ability to offer cinderella stories and massive upsets. Meanwhile in the NBA we have Warriors - Cavs for the 4th year in a row.

The minimum definition of success meaning that if they got to at least that point, everybody can keep their jobs?
No, I was thinking more like, for you to look back on this season after it's over, what would it take for you to say, "this season was a success for the Vikings."

Re: Message Board Update and Changes

Thanks Cliff for updating. I am intermittently getting this error when I click on pages. Then I will click my browser back button and then click the same page again and it will load just fine. I'm using Chrome desktop. Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Twig_Error_Loader' with message 'There are no re...

Re: 1st Round Pick- Mike Hughes- CB, UCF

Isn't this team kind of in win now mode? I'm surprised we took a corner. When we drafted Waynes he basically didn't play his first year. This is probably a good pick long term but I would have preferred OL.

Re: Vikings Draft Picks

The Hughes pick makes complete sense. Just watch the second half of the Saints playoff game and the whole playoff game against the Eagles to see why. I think Zimmer is still waking up with nightmares from those two games. As to whether Hughes was a good pick I'm not as confident in that. The guy ha...

Re: Report: Teddy Bridgewater finalizing deal with Jets

A friend of mine always refers to such cases as ‘Shrodingers recovery’. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk I don't trust Zimmer with the injury report. He really obscured what was going on with Bradford, and now we find out that Teddy's knee is still not 100%. Wasn't it a little risky to put Teddy ou...

Every player is always ahead of schedule on their injury recovery, until they're not.

Re: move up

I just read the Wikipedia article for Hodges. Here is what it says. On December 2016, ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. had Hodges along with Alabama's O. J. Howard as his top tight ends on the draft board. He gave both a first-round grade, ranking Hodges as the No. 32 prospect overall. Hodges was dr...

Re: move up

We have already got $36 million invested in our DL for 2018. We need to get some more offensive lineman.

Re: Subtraction (of salary cap) by addition

They are not going to cut any of the players you mentioned. Robison retiring is the only possibility. Sent from my LG-H872 using Tapatalk Agreed (though B-Rob takikg a pay cut or being released is a slight possibility after I read he was a no comment after he was asked something recently about his ...

I guess we're addressing the entire offensive line problem through the draft, then.

Jet cashes in: 4 years $30 million with SF

The four highest-paid running backs in the NFL for the 2018 season are set to be Le’Veon Bell, Devonta Freeman, LeSean McCoy, and … Jerick McKinnon? That’s where we’re at after the 49ers agreed to sign the running back to a four-year, $30 million contract Wednesday, according to ESPN. https://chica...
