Re: John Fox to Chicago?

Fox far from sucks, he has been to two SBs, one with Delhomme, and one with one of the biggest playoff chokers in league history, its not his fault Peyton McNoodle arm couldn't throw farther then 15 yards in the SB. However, he isn't exactly great, at least not yet. I think his tenure in Chi w...

Re: The Niners.. its ugly to watch

Hmm? Well I certainly apologize then.

Re: John Fox to Chicago?

It's not official yet but all indications are that Fox will be the Bears next head coach. I was thinking about it and if that happens, it will make Zimmer the only head coach in the division that hasn't won a conference championship and been a head coach in the Super Bowl. That isn't necessarily si...

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

The fact there wasn't sufficient evidence to overturn is what ticks me off. Ive seen that exact play called both ways, and onces it called as a catch, it should have been left. And guess who the call favored :wallbang: At least that call was by the rulebook, I have never EVER seen a blatant penalty...

Re: Overheard on a Seahawks Forum

Winning the Super Bowl makes the chest pump out! As a Vikings fan, I cannot wait for the day I get to brag and become insufferable to my buddies, mostly cowboy fans. ...wisdom I would hope that Vikings fans dont act like 1 SB makes us gods gift to football of we are to win won, I don't want to be a...

Re: Overheard on a Seahawks Forum

I think that's exactly how it's going to play out. The Packers are going to get beat down....severely. I won't be shocked if Rodgers can't finish the game. I don't know if I've ever seen a defense this good....at least one playing this well at the right time. And if any fans deserve to get condesce...

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

Yea it was close, that is for sure. I gotta say I really think the right call was made, and I have since I saw the first pr second replay where I saw the ball hit the ground and pop loose.

Re: Overheard on a Seahawks Forum

Guys, I've been wrestling with this since those dirty Peckers beat Dallas yesterday afternoon. I HATE Green Bay - I truly do. Always have, and always will. But (and get ready, because what I'm about to say might be considered blasphemy), at this moment in time I HAAAAAAAATTTTTEEEE Seattle even more...

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

Only to you, and to the referees who watched the replay. For the rest of us, it seems that we follow the other rule of replay - if you aren't sure, don't overturn . What you and the ref who reviewed the play are saying is you are 100% sure that there is no way that switching the ball to his left an...

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

so you would rather have a guy who can't make the playoffs over a qb who leads his team to 10-13 wins every year and gets them to the playoffs? two fluky wins by eli doesn't elevate him in my book. those defenses won those bowls imo. You thin defense won Eli those SBs? Did you even watch how inept ...

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

The problem is a "football move" is too ambiguous. Goodell needs to make the rule concrete: catch the ball, two feet in bounds, spit on the ground three times, salute the camera, and say, "possession, possession, possession!" Another Seahawks  or Packers :puke: Super Bowl....

Re: Divisional Round Playoff Discussion

The thing about the Dez no catch though, is it's not clear the ball actually hit the ground. And if that's the case, it's a TD because he caught it in the EZ after it popped up, and he never went OB. And no you can't just assume it hit the ground because the ball was resting on his forearm and he h...
