Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

He's not meh for a RT. He was fantastic the first 8 games last season (I think 0 sacks). Your 2 pressures in 4 games is in very limited action. Not saying I don't think Oneil will play well but he has only 1 game under his belt. Everything else is spot relief. It's not very limited action. Every ga...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

But Hill and Oneil wouldn't be playing Tackle. It would be Remmers at RT where he was decent to average and damn near good the first 8 games last season. This isn't difficult to understand but people keep ignoring it to make a point. Nobody is ignoring it. It's been the blindside where we are getti...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

ELI Manning has been sacked 20 times, kirk cousins has been sacked 18. The giants rank 25th in rushing, the vikings rank 26th. Hernandez, as good as he may end up being, would not have prevented hill or reiff from getting beat at the tackle positions. He very well may have made the vikings offensiv...

Re: 2018 Season General Thread (News, Notes, Interviews, etc)

Here we go with all the analysts being blow hards over Rodgers. “Yeah the best QB in the league!! Did you see that amazing comeback against C.J. Beathard and the 1-4 49ers?? I can’t believe my eyes”

God I can’t stand him

Re: Fustrated with lack of changes on Oline

I'm not happy with the offensive line. Trying to replace Berger by moving Remmers to guard is laughable. I still feel Remmers should have been kept at tackle where he had at least a respectable season last year. And to compound things we lost Easton for the season. Which was totally unexpected. Ins...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

Barr did have a very good game, forgot to mention him. Other than the OL where there are no easy solutions due to a botched draft, the other question is what do we do at DE. We only kept 4 and only 2 are healthy. As good as Hunter is, we need a rotation. We could pickup someone if Hughes is indeed ...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

Actually, it was. Chandler Jones beat Rashod Hill like a drum on that play. Go back and watch the highlights. Jones ran right around Hill like he was standing still (well, he pretty much WAS standing still) and forced Cousins to climb the pocket. But Jones caught Cousins and wrapped one arm around ...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

A couple other takes from this game: I’ve said it time and time again, many want to complain about Trae Waynes but you can tell when he’s playing and when he was out of the game. He played great all game. Also, Barr and Alexander have both been playing below average but both stepped up today. Barr h...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

Agree with your post. Here is some research I just did comparing Russel Wilson and Cousins from 2015 thru today. I chose Wilson because over that span he has been sacked about 50% more than Cousins. I think it is reasonable to assume that Wilson has been sacked on his blindside at least as many tim...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

I think this is more of an excuse than an explanation. Cousins has been at the top of the league in fumbles way before he came to the Vikings. Trying to tie an issue to the Vikings Oline that he has historically had to deal with is an excuse. Not only that, there are QBs sacked at a higher rate tha...

I don't think his fumble today was from his blind side
Well it was. He stepped up into the pocket and got hit from behind because Hill was smoked....again

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

Some would disappear but is he the only qb in the NFL that faces a stiff pass rush ? Keenum got rushed really hard last year too but only had one fumble. Besides last season, Cousins had pretty good OL's in Washington and still was a huge fumbler. It's him not the OL. The funbles this year are not ...

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

You guys have to realize the main reason Cousins is fumbling the ball so much, is his Oline cant protect him. He does not have the time that teams that are as good as us, or better, have. Fix the line, and some of the fumbles will disappear. That being said, sometimes he holds onto the ball a tad l...

How is Hill in run blocking? Maybe that has to be taken into account as well.
It doesnt matter. It's not like our run game has been good this year regardless. And this was the only game it was any good. And O'Neill was also playing

Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

I guarantee it's his ACL. The OL played ok. Kirk had some time but he also held the ball too long I thought. With that said, Arizona's rush defense is pretty bad. The main concern is hill and what they are going to do with him. It bothers me that they think the OL is “set” for now. I can tolerate C...
