Re: Cowboys @ Vikings post game

Management has continued to pick smaller OL prospects that were not big ticket items and hoped that they would pan out into smaller guys who master technique. This has been a pattern for years and has not worked at all. They also seem to have a penchant for picking out guys that have injury history/...

Re: Cowboys @ Vikings post game

This is the continuation of a decades long failure on the part of the Vikings organization. Coaches have come and gone but the attitude that the OL is a secondary concern remains. It has been decades since we had a noteworthy OL. Its not a sexy part of the roster that sells jerseys but it is the bed...

Re: Vikings @ Bills post game

LOL, PH, you be young! I am 58, being watching the Vikes for 50 years.....both a Cub fan AND a Vike fan....for 50 years I have been having my heart broke by the Vikes. So, yeah, those of us with decades more experience are a bit too wise to get too confident in this team. They have certainly been ha...

Re: Vikings @ Bills post game

that was a hell of a game......havent sworn that much in a long time! this team is so fun to watch. Living and dying by last minute come backs is entertaining but not a very reliable plan. The next few games should be a good acid test of how sturdy our playoff plans are. I really hope our OL is able...

Re: Vikings vs Fish 10/16/22

That was our only 1st down….at least we held a 3rd string QB to 3 points…everything i read said the Fins pass defense was weak

Re: Bears @ Vikings postgame

So, I thought our OC was actually pretty creative and gutsy, at least in the first half. What an exciting change compared to the last decade! Kirk looked the best I have seen him....in the first half. I wonder if the coaches called for a "prevent offense" in the second half or did the hapl...

Re: Lions @ Vikings post game

This one wasn't televised in my area, and I'm not spending any money for NFL products. Sounds like it started ugly and ended well. Yeah, most of the game was NOT quality football, definitely not worth paying for.....the nfl app for 9.99$ a month lets you watch all games, albeit, many times after it...

How Fun was that ?

When was the last time that the Viking Game was a better executed game than a Tom Brady led team? The Vikes were effficient (few penalties and errors), aggressive on both sides of the ball, and well prepared. I havent felt that way in years. Clock management was logical as opposed to comically confu...

Re: 2022 schedule

My view of the Vikes is that ownership is sitting pat on talent chosen by Spielman but changing the Coach. The veterans that were looking a bit older last year will just be older and slower this year. Cousins will be Cousins. Is there some inner beast within his soul that was being suppressed all th...

2022 schedule

Well, our opponents this year look like a gift from the NFL Gods. Our division is pretty weak, and our out of conference schedule only has 2 real powerhouses. No excuse this year for the coach/QB/GM if we dont make the playoffs.

Re: Draft Day thread

Well, this draft would make you think Spielman is behind the scenes trading down for no good reason, and passing up great OL talent. Nothing ever changes in MN

Re: A new GM on the horizon

RBs have the shortest career in football, so dont hold your breath on ours for too ong We have NO OL.....as in a pile of hot garbage We have a QB that eats up your cap and doesnt produce accordingly. We have some very good receivers but are they staying? As noted we have a rapidly aging Defense that...

Re: Coaching search 2022 - Confirmed Interviews and Speculation

I just don't see how she has enough experience at high lvl management to be the best choice, by far. It just stinks of grandstanding for pc headlines.
