Re: What??? Teddy to the Pro Bowl?

his longest td throw of the year (at least through the air) came in a meaningless pro bowl game. that is like playing pitch and catch in the back yard. that throw was probably his longest pass in the air since two years ago to charles johnson against the jets. how sad. http://www.nfl.com/videos/min...

Re: Core Offensive Players

I've been seeing and hearing a lot about the Vikes being a team on the rise and in thinking about that, I've been looking at the team and thinking about core players, players that appear to be clear "building blocks" who will still be starting for the team 3 or more years from now. I'm ta...

He would be on the top of my list and maybe move Kalil to RT and Load to left guard Fusco back to RG, hey it might work, Load is a huge "road grader" :)

Re: march 9 is the kalil deadline

I don't want to retain Loadholt or Kalil... Fusco and maybe Sullivan would be the only old group worth keeping... The younger guys its tough to tell... most of them have not played accept for clemmings and Harris Berger was up and down IMO last season. Shepard had some good push IMO Easton???Kerin?...

Re: Vikings OL

Thanks for correcting that. I had the impression when Zimmer said "Davidson wouldn't be back" because "he didn't want him back" that he was firing him. I think you make some good points here. As to why the blame gets put on Davidson and not Speilman? I think that's because of ph...

News flash and you will love this Jim, Teddy was just awarded as the best NFL QB in Minnesota, however, Shaun Hill nearly edged him out

Re: Mike Zimmer unanimous pick for NFC North coach of year

You know, there's a hidden point to your comment I'd like to bring up. Zygi Wilf was a new owner when he started out. He didn't know much about being an owner, and he made some real blunders. But now 10 years into his tenure, I think he's learned from his mistakes and is becoming a very good owner....

Re: Zimmer: Teddy Bridgewater needs to refine mechanics

Just to be clear, I wrote "the same sort of things". I wasn't suggesting he said the exact same things. I recall Spielman citing some specifics about Ponder's game, work ethic, etc. in an interview that I think was posted on KFAN's site but I can't find it now and it looks like they don't...

Re: Zimmer: Teddy Bridgewater needs to refine mechanics

Thanks for the link. I heard a sound clip of that statement from Spielman a little while ago. Of course, he said the same sort of things about Christian Ponder... I'll probably get more grief for saying this but I can't be the only one who would feel a lot better about Bridgewater if, two...
