Re: Most Encouraging Sign for 2016

My conclusion is that Wright was open for a possible TD. And I've seen that kind of thing too often with this current Vikings offense. I guess I'm in the minority in wanting the offense to alter its play-not-to-lose philosophy. Too many opportunities go wasted. You can look at most any NFL'S teams ...

Re: PHP's "Way Too Early But I Love It" 2016 Mock Offseason

I am ready for AD to be gone. I am so sick of his costly fumbles and his huge contract. It would be nice to send him to Dallas for a 2nd round pick and maybe a decent O-linemen.

[quote="DK Sweets"]I needed some time to breathe after the end of the game. I haven't read any posts in here yet, but here are my thoughts: SKOL Vikings. That really all I need to say right now. I don't need to explain to any of you how much that game hurt. I don't need to focus on the bad...

Re: Seahawks @ Vikings Game Day Discussion Thread - Wild Car

Against the number 1 defense in the league, in the cold, with limited opportunities. Blaming teddy is the most moronic thing I've ever heard TB actually played a really good game IMO. I put this loss of course on Walsh, then AD that, who also cost the Vikes the championship with his fumbles in the F...

How long has it been?

How long has it been since the Vikes had a really good coach :?: I would say that it goes clear back to Bud Grant. They have not had a SB appearance since the Grant regime IMO not a coincidence. Along those same lines when was the last time the Vikes had a franchise QB :?: I would not personally cal...

Vikes with the upset. The Vikes did not have Joseph and lost Barr and Harry in the first quarter when they lost to Seattle this year. Their presence will make a huge difference in the out come. http://www.vikings.com/news/article-1/Look-Who-is-Likely-Back-for-Seattle%E2%80%99s-Visit-to-Minnesota/9d8...

Re: 2016 free agent players. Who do you like?

Probably pretty good if the money is right. I have a sneaking suspicion the Vikings will pay Harrison Smith and look to fill the other spot via the draft or perhaps Harris or Newman, who will be cheaper. I think that Newman would fill in as a nice stopgap as Woodson transitioned with the Raiders. A...

Re: The Teddy Bridgewater Thread

You've pretty much got it right, Mondry. I don't think he has a "ceiling" as high as those platers. I'm admittedly (and obviously) conflicted about the whole thing and I apologize to everyone if I post about it too much and aggravate people. That's not my intent. You do
