Re: Cardinals Postgame Thread

You guys have to realize the main reason Cousins is fumbling the ball so much, is his Oline cant protect him. He does not have the time that teams that are as good as us, or better, have. Fix the line, and some of the fumbles will disappear. That being said, sometimes he holds onto the ball a tad la...

Re: Eagles Postgame Thread

I know we only have 2 wins, but Cousins is 100% the real deal. I was hesitant about him when we could have had Case for cheaper, but Cousins, playing behind a barely average line (I really think O'Neil being on the field help A LOT) is simply killing it. His touch on some throws is as good as Joe Mo...

Re: Dalvin @ Rams

To add to your point, Cousins has more passing attempts, completions and yards in his first three games than any viking qb ever. However still hearing Cousins isnt our guy  If this is a comparison to Case, you remember when he stared? hows he doing for wins against Case this season? Cousi...

Re: Where is the Elite Defense?

I'd still argue holding Rodgers to 281 (15th in the league last week) passing yards and 1 TD through 5 quarters isn't half bad. Did we do it at the expense of our run defense? Yeah, probably, but that's the trade off to contain the best QB in the league. They also allowed only 15 yards to him in ov...

Re: Bills vs. Vikings Postgame Thread

Rick proved to me, once again, that he was wrong. You cant try and plug cheap Line pieces into an Oline and expect it to work. Rick is too cheap to spend the money needed to get a decent line on the OFFENSIVE side of the ball. Does do any good at all to have a great (and I dont think ours is a great...

Re: Barr

Barr has already reached his ceiling. He has some good games early, but thats it. He isnt a good tackler, and lately doesnt look good in coverage, or cleaning up a tackle. I said when we got Kenricks, Ken would be ready and I was right. And Ken isnt 100% right now IMO. Only player on either side of ...

Kind of a blah signing. Hoping Zyl or Coley get a real chance at the 3rd WR spot

Re: The Kicker...AGAIN! *Update* Vikings Just signed Bailey

One thing I am happy about is that it took FOREVER for Spielman and Zim to part ways with Walsh. And in turn, Walsh kept costing us games. I'm glad they nipped it in the bud right now. Welcome Dan Bailey! I was going to post the exact same thing. No sense in messing around. Carlson isnt ready now. ...

Re: Preseason Week 1 Post Game Thoughts

Was a good game. Cousins was hot, he and Diggs look great together. Theilen wasnt in long enough to get many touches, I hope he gets a little more play time with Cousins in the next few pre season games. Treadwell had one more catch then I thought he would have. The Oline played well throughout the ...

Re: What Does Everyone Think About Trading for an O-Lineman?

Too bad Rick just doesnt draft Oline guys. The D is going to be one of the best in history, so lets keep making that stronger, and forget about the glaring weakness we have had for years, the Oline. But we got Hughes, he can move over and play G... :wallbang:

Re: Vikings Announce Barone, Janocko as Co-Offensive Line Coaches

I think I read something (maybe here?) that the Vikings reached out to Mike Tice. That would be great imo. Might actually have a decent line with a goof coach. Otherwise I think Cousins will have a long season.

Hunter has huge potential. Hopefully he lives up to it this year. If he and Barr play like they can, we will have one wicked D.

Re: Changing Norseman Logo

I love the logo. Its one of the most recognized in the NFL I think. I am part Norwegian, as Im sure many other Viking fans are, and I dont understand how it could be taken an other way other then pride. Unless your looking for stuff.

Re: Hey Viking fans

I hope Barr and Erin meet again. Erin hates being pressured, its when he makes mistakes. And one part of the Vikings game that should be improved is the D line.
