Re: Stadium thread
I was surprised by the margin of the final votes in both chambers. Going into it the leaders of both chambers were saying they weren't sure they had enough votes to get it through, and while the debates were lively enough and suggested a lot of overall opposition, in the end it wasn't all that clos...

Re: So, did you make the playoffs?
in a league I don't care about I'm 9-4 after losing Forte & Fred Jackson (have Ray Rice but I'm done). One league with friends I'm 11-1 but that one's boring, barely getting by without Peterson. The one that I actually wanted to win I'm 7-5 on a 4 game losing streak. I had the 7th pick, drafted ...

Re: Stadium thread
I'd encourage everyone that hasn't (or even if you have) to keep pressuring the legislature, some of them are acting like people don't care for some reason. http://www.savethevikes.org/huddle-up/ The fight for saving the Minnesota Vikings has reached a crucial moment. With a powerful, public show of...

Re: Stadium thread
I have a question: Why haven't any of the plans or ideas like License Plates and Lottery Tickets been used to raise some money? I know it wouldn't pay for the stadium, but I would think they could raise a decent portion of the public money for it, right? I think something like the viking scratch ga...

Re: XBOX or PS3?
It could be the disk too, MW2 would repeatedly freeze up on me until I cleaned it. I used dish soap and water and dried it off with one of those lens cleaning cloths. Works with Blu-Rays too. And it also turns off if you hold your finger on the glowing power button in the front until it beeps (not s...

Re: Stadium thread
I think a new NFL Stadium outdoor experience would be worlds better than the TCF outdoor experience. Seat warmers, most games would be earlier in the day, if they win it'll be a little warmer, bigger crowd, and there will actually be beer sold. Odds are that it'll have a retractable roof though. And...

Re: Here come the playoffs!
I finished 1st in the standings in the vmb.com league and am in the championship game this week ... but it doesn't look like Vick will start leaving me Carson Palmer playing the Ravens ><; Well, apparently without TO & Ocho Palmer is Joe Montana all of the sudden. I'd know because I started the...

Re: Here come the playoffs!
So far it looks like I'm gonna lose both of my leagues in the same week (one in the championship, other in the semi finals round). Thanks go out to Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson, and Brandon Lloyd for combining to score 20 points. And to the Dolphins D for allowing 34 Lions points with none of the...
