That wasn't the offensive coordinator's fault - KOC is the one calling the plays.

Re: Bears at Vikings MNF
I am interested to hear if any of you can recall a more horrendous team performance than this one? I cant....... It was over 20 years ago, but the worst one I remember is the 2000 NFC Championship game against the Giants where we lost 41-0. We had 114 total yards of offense and gave up 518, probabl...

Re: Should we trade for a Quarterback
Maybe Stafford for nothing. He is a true winner. Rams are done. There's some connections. I wouldn't do it but he probably is available. 7th rounder and go for the ring. The rams would not trade Matt Stafford away for a 7th rounder…. Not to mention that Stafford went out of the game yesterday with ...

Re: Vikings at Packers
Way to early on Hall. KO must have seen something he liked. But some of those pass plays KO call when Hall was in there were just terrible. Hall should get a few games in before a trade , or Mullens/Maniaon come in. I hope they stick with Hall. I got good vibes from him, which means absolutely noth...

Re: Thielen’s release signals a new direction
So Thielen is lighting it up in Carolina. Why couldn't our offensive guru get production out of him and allow us to use our first round pick on defense or interior oline? Because, simply put, KO is a horrible HB, and I am questioning his plays and designs. I agree, KO is a horrible half back.

Re: Chiefs at Vikings
You know, I hadn’t thought about that with the Kelce play. The rule: If a player catches a pass, gets two feet (or one shin/knee) down, and then goes to the ground, he must secure possession through the act of going to the ground. Somebody please explain to me how Kelce met this requirement. I will...

Re: JJ snubbed again
JJ did make 2nd team All Pro. I wouldn't call it a snub as a snub would mean someone got voted in that had way less stats than one who didn't. It's pretty hard to pick just 3 wide receivers and I don't think you can say that any of the 3 (Kupp, Adams & Samuels) have a lot worse stats than JJ.

Re: Vikings vs Bears
I do wonder though if a QB could just fake taking a knee there by dipping down but not actually touching the ground, and then if the defensive players let up, just take off. I just watched Zimmer's presser from the day after the Bears game and someone asked him specifically about that play, and he ...

Re: Vikings vs Bears
It's called forward progress. It is where he caught the ball before being driven backwards. He doesn't have to have 2 feet down in the end zone. I thought he didn’t have complete control until well after he touched the ground. Wouldn’t forward progress happen when he has possession? I'm guessing if...

Re: Vikings vs Bears
I didn't even know a QB could take a knee on a play like that. I honestly can't recall ever seeing one do that before unless it is a kneel down play. I thought Lynch got flagged for body slamming him. They should take that rule out though that lets a QB take a knee in a situation like that. He can ...

Re: Vikings vs Bears
That last play should have not been a TD. What a load of BS. It's not a catch until he comes down with the ball is my understanding. He was in the air and when he came down the ball was obviously outside of the end zone. It's called forward progress. It is where he caught the ball before being driv...

Re: Steelers @ Vikings post game
Every reason to NOT to come and play hard? How about still being in the playoff race? Besides, if they don't play hard then they aren't going to last very long in this league and lose their job. That should be the only reason they need to play hard. What you say is obvious and true, but what I prop...

Re: Steelers @ Vikings post game
What also was vintage Zimmer, and this speaks very favorably to his virtues, is that this team had every reason to NOT come out and play hard. To me, it speaks volumes that Dalvin chose to play. The guys were playing HARD and they don't do that for a coach that they want to see fired. I want to mov...

Re: Vikings @ Lions post game
Can someone explain to me how Woods earned unnecessary roughness on his his to Hockenson? It didn't look like helmet to helmet on gamepass. Looked like a well timed legal hit. It doesn't have to be helmet to helmet. Any hit on a receiver in the head/neck area will get flagged. Just like the Pittsbu...
