Re: Rest in peace Doleman
This is sad news. Doleman was one of the first players i was a "fan" of when i was young. He wasn't around (with the Vikings) when i really started to understand the game, but i did have a bunch of his cards :- D.

Re: Vikings/Saints Post-Game
It was my belief that Harris was the safety help that Rhodes was expecting (even though Smith ended up being there at the end of the play) and perhaps he was talking to smith as the "leader" of the safeties? /shrug. I feel that there was another time earlier in the season where it seemed t...

Re: How to Beat the Packers
I thought this was pretty good, from an article that includes how the packers plan to stop Kirk and make him uncomfortable "Affect him," Packers OLB Za'Darius Smith told me Thursday, " as far as getting him out the pocket, moving him around, getting pressure, getting hits. If he can't...

Re: Broncos Post Game Thread
I am a positive vikings fan. As long as i have been here there have always been perpetually negative posters. Some have been very opinionated and some have been very statistical and all have seemed overly critical. On the flip side there have been some that have had a bit too much of the kool aid. O...

Re: Cowboys Pregame
I noticed a lot of talk that we only have one "good" receiver. Is everyone forgetting about Josh Doctson? I know its not official but there is a chance he will be able to play this week. Also, Bisi has seemed pretty solid and Irv seems to be picking up steam. I am hoping that the differenc...

Re: Chiefs Pre Game discussion
If we can control the pace of the game we may not need 30 points. But even running the ball we may score TDs to quick, so i guess 35-3 Vikes.

Re: Why Kevin Stefanski Might Be the NFL's Next Great Offensive Coach
I read this earlier and i thought it was a good read, but I don't believe there was a single mention of Kubiak in the entire article.

Re: Post Game Thread - Lions Edition
I dont post very often but i just have a couple general questions for the board. Did anyone notice Treadwell on the field at all yesterday? We haven't seen many passes to the backs (but a lot more pitches), i am wondering if this is a wrinkle they may be saving for later in the season? thoughts? I l...

Re: Something is telling me you guys would like my hobby....
Would you happen to be interested in a whole pile of Peterson RC and 2nd year cards? I was big into collecting when i was a kid, then College and NAVY happened and i lost interest. Peterson was drafted during a lul in my navy career (ship yard) and i got back into collecting again, ended up with a l...

Re: Poll: Your First Vikings Head Coach
It was borderline but i had to go with Dennis Green since I didn't really starting watching weekly and understanding until around the 1993 season. (coincidentally around the same time i got heavy into football cards)

I voted NFCC.... Having a chance to miss the playoffs completely was inconceivable to me coming into the season.

Re: Patrick Peterson?
Just wanted to share this theory from ESPN Arizona would send Peterson to the Vikings for cornerback Trae Waynes, plus 2019 first- and third-round picks, with the Cardinals agreeing to keep Sam Bradford on their roster so that Minnesota will remain eligible for a 2019 third-round compensatory pick t...

Alliance of American Football
I have seen over the past couple days that the new football league, Alliance of American Football, will be starting up next year the week after the Super Bowl. I was just wondering if anyone else here is considering following or checking out this other league? Currently there are eight teams and the...
