Re: Robert Smith's back up

Never heard of him. Speaking of Robert Smith backups though; When I was 16 I worked at a local (Kentucky-based) theme park and my manager there worked with Moe Williams in college. I think she was studying to either a nutritionist or fitness coach of some kind (that's been a while back). They both ...

Re: Robert Smith's back up

Looking at Vikings historical roster I don't see anyone with that name between 1993-2000 - the years in which Robert Smith played. Perhaps the guy changed last names? The only RB I see named John or Jon between 1993-2000 is John Henry Mills in 1999. http://www.vikings.com/team/history/historical-ro...

Robert Smith's back up

Random story:
My wife ordered a new dishwasher and met a man named John Cerrano(sp?) who said he was Robert Smith's back up? I've googled various name spellings and can't find him, even college stuff.

Anybody remember a practice squad name of John Cerrano or Serano, whatever spelling varation?

Re: AD Injury thread

If Bradford can sustain consistent performances like Sunday night against the Pack the loss of AP, although a future hall of famer and elite, won't be as big a deal. I think we can definitely survive a few weeks if that is the diagnoses for AP.

Re: Who will win the starting Left DE spot?

I think starting is almost an irrelevant term here. That's probably not the best word, but I'd prefer Robinson to "start" and be in there for running downs until Hunter gets the handle of playing as an all four downs DE. Bring him in on passing downs. Of course, they both are in in that s...

Re: QB market is a little nuts.

TB's contract is likely to be at least partially offset by AP no longer being on the roster. Highly unlikely we are going to have a RB on the roster making that kind of money much longer. Also, QB is still the most important position in football and the market reflects it. Just like Kalil, when it ...

Re: Advice on ordering NFL Game Pass?

During the preseason, the video broadcast seems to be available (that's how I watched Friday's game). That might be new because i don't remember that option being available lat year. Maybe I just missed it. During the regular season, only the "listen" option is available on game days. The...
