Texas Vike, I think you were the only person in the gamechat who had any belief we could come back at half time. Hats off to you for believing!Texas Vike wrote: ↑Sat Dec 17, 2022 5:35 pm That was an absolutely BONKERS game.
KJ Osborne played his best game of the year.
That's all I remember at this point.

Unreal! I love that Burleson is a homer and doesn’t even try to hide it. That was one to remember! Skol

Re: Vikings vs. Packers Postgame
 Z Smith is my new favorite Viking! I remember when he had what felt like six sacks of Cousins… I couldn’t believe we got him this off-season. KOC has a fun scheme (both offense and defense) and great presence presence on the sideline. I am so glad we have him instead of an old fat guy chewing...

Re: Vikings @ Chargers post game
Nice we played a complete game today, because we’re going to need another one next week against the Packers. Let’s get this train rolling! Five divisional games left to play.

Re: Dantzler is out against Colts
He is only starting over Gladney because Gladney is hurt Gladney has been limited with a knee injury. Thanks for bringing me up to speed. Gladney did have a few minutes last week, correct? I thought I saw him in there. Hope it doesn’t linger too long. Meniscus injuries can be so slow to heal.

Re: Vikings vs. Packers: Good, Bad, and Ugly
Lots of people talk about “scripted” drives now a days. Are they really as big of a deal as people attribute to them? If so, would it really be so hard to script multiple drives for multiple scenarios?

Re: Dantzler is out against Colts
Is anyone surprised he was starting over Gladney? Seems like a good thing that Dantzler is good enough in his second game ever as a pro that we’ll miss him.

Re: Kirk's Stumble
Kirk’s mentality is similar to mine and it makes me like him more for it. I respect the fact that he has his own opinion, but is still courteous enough to wear a mask and protect others from a virus of which he is not overly fearful.

That’s football 101, you just don’t run out of bounds if you’re a receiver. Surprised the TV analyst reacted the way he did, almost trying to rationalize it.

Re: Will there even be a Season?
I believe they’ll play this season unless the virus takes an unforeseen turn. Things are trending in the right direction and leaders are itching to reopen the economy. Plus sports are big part of American morale. I do think we may see some changes, though, like less fans in the stands. Perhaps all p...

I like the kickoff concept. But I have been struggling to get excited about the game play. The freakish athleticism of the NFL has me spoiled.

Re: Moves the Vikings should make for 2020
I hope you are right. We could trade Kirk and sign Teddy for cheap. Kirk might even bring in a 2nd round pick! We could use that to help trade up for an earlier pick in the 1st so we could draft one too. I'm guessing you're kidding. But I'll throw this in. We'd still be on the hook for Kirk'...

Re: 49ers Post Game
Well on the bright side, we looked better against SF than the Packers have so far. They can’t stop their run either. It appears we ran into a buzz saw last week.
I think our offseason focus should be improving the OL and getting younger on defense. I’m not ready to blow the whole thing up yet.

Re: Should the Vikings Trade for Joe Burrow?
If we ended up with Joe, I think “Joe Burrow is too immobile for today’s NFL” would be a common refrain around here in a few short years. Just a feeling I have. And that is also my biggest concern with Kirk Cousins.
