Re: Who Starts?

I definitely don't think he started off well, but do believe he finished well. It's completely understandable that the start of that game was rough for him under those circumstances. Maybe some of it was lucky as he's had some questionable play with the Cardinals, but we don't have a better choice t...

Case Keenum: (HAAHAHHA!) Cheap contract. Full of magic. Could also be decent backup.
Speaking of magic, I've seen people saying Fitzmagic(Fitzpatrick) coming back. I don't think even slightly realistic, but would be funny if he came back and just starting slinging it

Re: Who is Jaren Hall?

The thing about Hall that does make me nervous is how much a surprise Puka Nacua has been(to many, I felt he was better than his draft position, but not potential best WR in the draft. I live in Utah so had a lot more views of him). Feels like Hall could have done a lot more with that weapon than t...

Re: Should we trade for a Quarterback

I just read there's a possibility of bringing in Colt McCoy for a look. Wow. WOW!! :govikes: At that point, they should go back to Keenum. He's been a backup for a few years now and currently on the Texans. I don't think we should trade for a QB if we have any sort of faith in Hall. If for some rea...

Re: Vikings at Packers

So is Kirk out for the season? Was that the last we ever see him as a Viking? People seem to think it is serious, possibly an Achilles. Multiple Drs analyzing the film are posting it looks like an Achilles, so could be wrong, but definitely points to that. 9 month or so recovery, so lucky to make t...

Re: Vikings vs 49ers

Lost of great things by the Vikings in that game. I was watching it on my phone on a plane for most of the game so didn't have the best view. I didn't realize Warner tipped it when we were down there after the Akers run Good breakdown by O'sullivan of a lot of the stuff we did. Kirk had some great t...

Re: JJ to injured list

We need to have a fire sale. Trade anyone that draws interest. Yes I mean everyone. I'd trade JJ for two 1st rounders and two 2nd rounders. I don't want to pay him what he thinks he should get. I don't think you win championships by paying WRs like QBs. The only player I'd deem untouchable is Darri...

I'm sure the Vikings won't be in a rush to bring him back either, so we'll see how long it actually takes. The lead up to the trade deadline may be real interesting for the Vikings this year.

Re: Way too early draft news: Caleb Williams

I’ll say this. JT O’Sullivan has done some deep-dive breakdowns on this guy, and Williams appears to be as good a prospect as any QB in the past 25 years. He’s mobile, he’s got a gun, he’s super savvy, he can escape pressure, he’s great at off-platform throws at various arm angles, and he absolutel...

Re: Way too early draft news: Caleb Williams

Jefferson mostly. May have helped with that #1 vote from the NFLPA for working conditions. Cowboys, 49ers and I guess NY as well as far as media market size go, little surprised on the Raiders though as they have been such a mess for many years. There has been a few guys in the past to force themsel...

Re: Vikings at Panthers

Glad Young is playing. Feel like we have a better chance of getting torn up by Dalton. Feel like he'd recognize our defensive schemes better than a young rookie. Plus, we love to lose to backup QB's, so rather play against the starter.

Re: Personal Stuff

Cliff, Sorry to hear that. I'm sure financially it is probably tough as well. My wife had cervical cancer quite a few years ago and we were able to treat it so she is healthy(ish) today, but still ended up owing the hospitals 35k after insurance(and some of it being written off by the hospitals). We...
