Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer

I've gathered that you feel that way, and I think you have a point with it. I just don't think so much focus should be put on Kluwe. He and what he did/said aren't the biggest issues, for me. Because, I actually believe what Kluwe said, so I'm forming my comparisons and opinions based on that. Why ...

Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer

Yeah. That would have been ideal, huh? And there's never any retaliation at work when someone runs to the big boss about issues among coworkers, huh? And ignores the chain of command? It would have just stopped that quickly? I'll ask Martin! That would have been ideal, but I'm not sure it would hav...

Re: Kluwe rips Frazier, Spielman, Priefer

As far as hypocrisy, I don't think supporting the gay community and "not putting up with a #### at work" are the same thing. Are they? So, he should have spoken up sooner, but isn't it a bit unfair to ask him to really do that when most of us couldn't do the same? As I pointed out earlier...

Re: Fran the Man Speaks

you guys are looking way too much into this. allow me to help out... no matter who we draft half of the people will like the pick and the other half will call him a bum and declare him a bust before he can shake goodell's hand. same old song and dance. next, if we are in a position to get a guy lik...

Trade up if you have to! :govikes:
I'm 100% all-in for Johnny Manziel. I want that dude in the draft no matter what!

Griff will probably be around, and I can't imagine the other two will get signed in MN...but if either of them do, it's more likely KWill. I'm okay with either scenario.

Re: 2014 Vikings Draft Options

I was skeptical at first, but I am no longer. The Vikings MUST get a QB in the first round. All of the weapons are there on offense. Solidify the OL with a guard somewhere in the draft, and you're golden.

The barrel is loaded - it's time to pull the trigger.

This just makes me miss Randy Moss. The glory days of football in my mind...back when players could still have fun playing the game.

Patterson. Only complete toolbags making millions of dollars complain about where they're playing football.

Re: Are the Vikings seriously interested in Darrell Bevell?

No, no, I think we're better off without a coach than Bevell...his offense was more bland than Musgrave's when he was here.

Re: Jarius Wright

He's a #4 guy in my mind - and a good one at that. I always like having bigger/taller, outside guys for #1 and #2, so Patterson and Simpson are fine and Greg Jennings is perfect in the slot. Jarius Wright fits just fine after that. I think that our WR corps is one of our strongest points of our team...

Re: Fixing the Secondary

1. DE (this could be from either of the FAs, JA or EG) 2. CB 3. DT 4. MLB 5. CB 6. OLB 7. S Not sure why safety is on that list. When healthy, Harrison Smith and Sanford are a pretty decent duo. Cornerback is interesting. Sure, we need a true #2 CB (since I think Rhodes has what it takes to be #1),...

Re: Hartman: Vikings in need of stability at coach

You don't hold onto guys just because you're afraid of losing whatever "stability" might be there at that position. That's the kind of thinking that kept Chris Cook starting.

Re: who thinks this is what we should do?

I can't vote on this pole because I'm not sure how this draft may unfold. I still say a potential trade involving Peterson should be considered. He may be the team "Stamp" right now, but will he still be there 3 years from now? Rhodes, Floyd, Patterson represent the new face of this team....
