Re: Mike Wobschall

I've seen a few different rumors in my snooping around the web. One is regarding a racially charged tweet and a back and forth he had afterwards. The tweet is now deleted, but if he really said what I heard it was, it shows astonishing patience that he wasn't fired on the spot. It allegedly happened...

Re: Spielman gets an extension

I don't see what the big deal is. It's a one year extension, not 10. It was done to create an option. Imagine they don't extend Zim and Rick and the team plays great this year and contends or wins it all. Then they're both Free agents and the bidding war would be crazy. This way they would have time...

Didn't see that, then again the Over the cap site was being uncooperative with me. :)

Re: My Plan to Fix the Vikings

I have a bad feeling we go into the draft taking a DL and LB in rounds 1 and 2 with a guard in the 3rd. And they will run with O'Neill, Easton, Elflein, Rookie, Reiff while we get to hear all offseason how greatly improved Isidora and Collins looks... Ideally they go RT (who can play G for a year) ...

Re: My Plan to Fix the Vikings

Reiff isn't going anywhere. Cutting him will cause a 6.6 million dead money cap hit to save 5.1 million. He's staying for at least this year. Remmers on the other hand. 1.8 million dead money but saves 4.55 million. I can see him gone. Sendejo is a prime candidate too. No dead money, saves 5.5 milli...

Re: 6th Round Pick (2)- Ade Aruna- DE, Tulane

Let's go Patterson. Seems like he's another Hunter freak. Pretty much what I thought when I read his profile a month back. I know nothing about him, it just read like the kind of DEs the Vikes have targeted under Zimmer. I had a suspicion they'd come out of this draft with one of Aruna, Lorenzo Car...

Re: 2nd Round Pick- Brian O'Neill- OL, Pittsburgh

His production gives me hope but I don't see where he fits. Too tall and not enough strength for guard. Very short wingspan for a tackle. His arm length keeps getting mentioned, I have no idea why. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/brian-oneill I know it matters some, but it's not the end all be...

Re: Vikings Draft Picks

Wow! "Strengths: Size, effort. Weaknesses: Quickness, balance. Brian O’Neill is a tortoise coming off the line of scrimmage, forcing him to lunge and lose balance as he tries to compensate. He’ll raise injury liability premiums for his quarterback as a left tackle but could be a stopgap on the...

Re: 2018 NFL Draft Thread

Where is this stuff coming from? I swear what I heard Mayok say was great feet, chance to be special, needs to get stronger. I must have missed the part where they said they need to teach him how to play football.

Re: Vikings sign Richardson (For real)

I love this signing. For a player like Richardson who has huge ability but doesn't always live up to it this is the right kind of deal. A one year prove it deal with millions in incentives and being added to a pretty stacked front 7 where he won't be doubled very often. There's every reason for Shel...

Re: Holy F*ckin sh*t post-game thread madness

I disagree. Vikings deserve this win. You can't take away the effort from the first half. As dramatic as the ending was, the Vikings still moved the ball and was in FG position with Diggs catch. Just so happened he made a huge play so they didn't have to kick the FG for the win. Maybe "Didn't ...

Re: Holy F*ckin sh*t post-game thread madness

Agreed. However, I’m hoping Zim learned a lesson and it never happens again. Doubt it will against Foles next week, completely different animal from the vet Brees and the Aints. As much as they nearly killed all of us again, I'm glad this happened this way. I'm almost happy they got punched in the ...
