Re: 53 man roster...Cuts and trades

Here's my beef. If we acknowledge that there's only a finite number of high draft picks and coaches need to be able to identify players in later rounds, then why do we need to have THREE 1st round corners and an additional 2nd rounder? Why does the logic not apply to this position, especially with ...

Re: brittney murphy dead!! at 32

In my opinion, she was not a great actress, but it is really sad to have anyone that young die.

It is too bad she thought being anorexic was the stylish thing to do, and the drugs were just part of living.

Re: The Movies

I'm a big fan of the extreme violence. Which this had some of. But it definitely wasn't what I expected, and actually hoped it'd be. Wasn't overly impressed. imo it was an alright movie. Which is more than I can say about a lot of them. (Including Cloverfield which was one of least enjoyable movies...

Re: The Movies

Hey could someone tell me their opinion about Inglorious Bastards? I just got it for Christmas and I am just curious about what people think about the movie. I won't watch it just yet, I am going to read up on before I watch it. Have you seen other Quentin Tarantino films? The reviews basically sta...

Re: The Movies

I really enjoyed Fantastic Mr. Fox as well. I liked UP , but for some reason, I like Fantastic Mr. Fox more. Perhaps it is the realistic portrayal of the characters' emotions. gotta say from your post above, (FYI: I'm not a big apatow fan) but I liked funny people and fell asleep in Year One ... it...

Re: Stadium thread

Discussion of stadium issues can continue in this thread with the following caveat. Anyone who diverges from the stadium into anything else gets a week off. Second offense, you're gone. Period. There will be no warnings. There is no defense. That is the rules and if you cannot stick to it, you're g...

Re: Ricky Rubio

What is even more frustrating is that they did it with not only Garnett, but also with Ray Allen whom the Timberwolves traded away on draft day. I do not understand why the Timberwolves kept wasting draft picks on the big center and point guards. The Wolves traded away Ray Allen on draft day for a ...

Re: The Movies

The best movie I have seen in a long time is Fantastic Mr. Fox . Maybe I was just happy I had a migraine free day and was ready for a cute laugh, but I really liked it, as did my children and wife. It isn't a big boomer action film, and it wasn't even played on one of the big bleacher seating screen...

It looks action packed, but the name is redundant.

It's like calling a film Boxer Puncher.

Wolves lose to Warriors in record-setting fashion Minnesota tied club marks for points allowed, margin of defeat. By JERRY ZGODA, Star Tribune Last update: November 10, 2009 OAKLAND, CALIF. - This isn't a joke, even if it sounds like one after the Timberwolves' historically abysmal 146-105 loss at ...

Re: Timberwolves

Clippers get Wolves' Telfair in Richardson trade I like the trade, although I don't know how hyped I am with getting rid of our only veteran point guard. It is clear that Kahn is completly starting over, and doing it YOUNG. I'm glad Madsen is finally gone. He was worthless ever since the Western Co...
